Former Minister of Interior, Abba Moro appeared in court on Wednesday for hearing on his bail application.
Justice Anwuli Chikere had on Monday, ordered the immediate remand of Moro, and two others, in Kuje prison, pending the hearing of today’s bail application.
Moro and Anaesthesia Nwaobia, a Permanent Secretary in the ministry and a Deputy Director Finance, F.O Alayegbami, were arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on an 11 count criminal charge over the 2014 N676 million Nigerian Immigration recruitment scandal that lead to the death of more than 20 job seekers.
The judge adjourned Moro’s bail hearing till Thursday, March 3.
