Acting CJN to swear-in two Supreme Court justices on Monday

The acting Chief Justice of Nigeria,Walter Onnoghen on Monday will swear in two new justices of the Supreme Court.

According to a statement by the National Judicial Commission, NJC’s Acting Director, Information, Soji Oye, the justices to be sworn are Sidi Dauda Bage, and Paul Adamu Galinje.

The NJC’s statement read, “President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Honourable Justice Sidi Dauda Bage, and Honourable Justice Paul Adamu Galinje, as Justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council.

“The two Honourable Justices will be sworn-in by the Acting Honourable Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of the National Judicial Council, Hon. Justice W. S. N. Onnoghen, CFR, on Monday 5th December, 2016 at 2.00 pm in the Supreme Court of Nigeria.”
