A military fighter jet has crashed at the Yola Airport on Wednesday night leaving two pilots injured. The jet was used in fighting the insurgency group in the North East.
The pilots are currently receiving treatment at the Air force military hospital.
According to reports, the crash was caused by a burst tyre which happened at bout 8pm in the process of landing on the run way of the Yola Airport.
Although the pilots succeeded in ejecting themselves out of the jet before it crashed, that didnt deter them from incurring serious injuries.
Air safety officials were present on the scene to quench the fire that had immersed the aircraft right after it crash landed.
