The National assembly has been urged by President Muhammadu Buhari to consider two new executive bills, which will aid the fight against corruption.
The bills are Money Laundering Prevention and Prohibition Bill 2016 and the Criminal Matters Bill 2016, according to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
The bills, if passed, will to a large extent, bolster the legal framework of President Buhari’s anti-corruption war.
The Senate President read a letter sent by the President on the executive bills, at the resumed plenary on Wednesday.
