Apostle Suleiman: Stephanie Otobo fails to get bail

by Azeez Adeniyi

Stephanie Otobo, a Canadian based lady who claimed to have been in a relationship with General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman was on Wednesday unable to get bail.

Otobo had demanded N500 million for breach of promise to marry, claiming that Apostle Suleiman impregnated and abandoned her.

Chief Magistrate Kikelomo Bukola Ayeye was not in court to sign some of the required documents.

The Magistrate had also left the Court premises on Tuesday by the time the documents were said to be ready.

Stephanie and Wisdom Godstime will remain in police custody until they meet requirements for their bail.

The duo were accused of “terrorism” after the allegations against Apostle Suleiman.

The court had however denied the application to remand them in prison, stating there was no substantial evidence to deny the duo their freedom.

Otobo had earlier released screenshots of video chats between herself and Apostle Suleiman.
