Senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray-Bruce has said the investments of former Vice-president, Atiku Abubakar may be further targeted for leaving the All Progressives Congress.
What happened:
- Atiku had left the ruling APC, stating that it was a ‘dying party’.
- The Federal Government had earlier terminated the pilotage agreement with Intels, a company owned by Atiku.
What Bruce said:
While reacting to his resignation, Bruce urged Atiku to return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He wrote, “I congratulate @Atiku for leaving the APC. It took courage especially as he has wide business investments that are already targets and could be further targeted. I, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, now appeal to Waziri Adamawa, to return to the house he helped build, the PDP.”
