Battle for relegation survival heats up as Week 37 draws near

The battle for the 3 positions in the Barclays premier league intensify as West Ham, Hudderfield City, Swansea, Southampton and Stoke move into the weekend in a bid to salvage season. With West Brom’s chances of making it out of the bottom 3 becomes low by the week we take a look at the remaining contenders.

Stoke city hosts 11th position Crystal palace in a match were anything but a win will do. The Potters have not recorded any victory in their last 5 league game. Football lovers over the years has taken advantage of this to stake that poster will be beaten at Big free bet each time they are playing a bigger team. Paul Lambert will need a very strong spirited team-talk to motivate his player considering the fact the Potters have only won Crystal Palace once in their last 6 meetings in all competition.

The 19th position side will be hoping that results go their way this weekend. Southampton who in the 18th place will be hoping to grab an unlikely victory when they visit Everton at Goodison Park as manager Mark Hughes aims to save the Saints from collapse with 2 matches to elapse. Mark Hughes certainly knows that a win could draw his side out of the bottom 3. Considering the fact that Saints have not secured 3 points in their last 2 outings here, the team will be hoping for a bit of luck.

17th placed Swans visit Vitality stadium to take on Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth in a match that could decide whether the South-Wales based outfit will remain the English top flight division. Carlos Carvalhal no that doubt has displayed an outstanding performance since taking over the managerial role of the South-wales club with wins over Arsenal and Liverpool coming to mind. However a lackluster performance which have seen the side winless in the last season 6 leagues have brought the club to an unsafe position. Swansea this weekend will be playing against a side that they are yet to win in 5 straight meetings and will be hoping for a miracle to stay afloat in England’s no 1 league.

West ham will certainly approach the game at King Power stadium with caution knowing that a draw could put them in safe position ahead of the last day of the season.

David Wagner and his Huddersfield side will certainly something special if they are get a result at Ethihad stadium this weekend. The side will try to avoid defeat and might result to a defensive tactic this weekend as well as very morale boasting Prep talk.
