Big Brother, today held his dairy session with a number of housemates, and most of them had some interesting things to say. Among those who had interesting things to say was Pere, who has been on the spotlight since Sunday. He spoke to Biggie about everything he had been experiencing, from being a wild card to who he likes, and in some ways his diary session put a few things into prospect.
Pere was asked by Big Brother why he nominated the Housemates that he did, and he gave brief responses for all of them. He said that he nominated Yerins because he seems anti social. He nominated Niyi because his marriage makes him boring. He nominated Beatrice because he hadn’t bonded with her like the other ladies, and he nominated White Money cause he felt White Money is not being real.
The first half of his diary session was pretty routine, but when he was asked if he had anything else to say, he added Big Brother to the list of confidants he had told about his love for Maria.
He told Big Brother that he liked Maria but she may not reciprocating the feeling because of the truth or dare game last night, where he kissed Beatrice. Big Brother then asked if he thought her being upset wasn’t reasonable. He responded that they were both reasonable and unreasonable. They were reasonable because anyone would be upset at that particular scenario, watching someone who says they like you get intimate with another person. He also said it was unreasonable because she should understand it’s a game, and everyone is here to have fun.
He noted that his plans for her is to persists. He told Big Brother that he had no plans of alienating himself from her, and he will just remain cool about it, but, if she still insists on not having anything to do with him, he will as he put it, “take his L.”
Pere during his chat with Biggie, seemed adamant about his feelings for Maria, but at the same time he had a sort of calculated calmness to him. He never really gave a vibe of desperation, and his last statement where he mentioned that he would take his L, and leave it alone if she doesn’t come around, is indicative of a Housemate who understands the Big Brother game and is unwilling to jeopardize his chances of winning because of his emotions. Time will tell.
