Tonight’s eviction show is the most shocking we’ve seen so far on the show.

Bally was let out of the House in one of the tightest voting results. He earned the lowest percentage 23.76% of the total votes cast and what has viewers talking is how fellow nominated housemate, TBoss managed to gain more votes than all the other nominees.

If you’re a newbie to the BBNaija conversation, you’d wonder why everyone questions one housemate’s chances at making it to the finals. See, this housemate, TBoss has a story and it’s safe to say she’s the most contentious of all the housemates.

Let’s summarise her journey from Day 1.

Tokunbo “TBoss” Idowu stood out as an extremely attractive housemate from the start. Her multiple tattoos and body piercings left a lot to our collective imaginations. Before long, she became one of the first set of housemates to jump into a “romantic relationship”. You’d hardly see TBoss without Miyonse, they shared something that came across as strong until the first nomination show and she put her lover up for nomination. Viewers immediately developed a notion about her: what kind of person would want to see their closest pal leave? A week later, Miyonse was booted out and TBoss was left in shock for days. Confused personality? We could not conclude yet.

As the days flew by, TBoss became the talking point of the Saturday night parties. What sort of lady would sit through a party and watch other people dance? She was beginning to raise even more questions.

Then TBoss delivered the ultimate BBNaija moment. She walked into the general room and yanked off her underwear. The whole world (okay, we’re exaggerating), Africa got a good view of her boobs and this was the point where BBNaija gained a new set of followers. People got curious, they wanted to see what more this eye-candy had to offer.

Fast forward to four weeks ago, TBoss fell victim to a case of sexual assault by a fellow housemate. Kemen touched her privates while she was asleep, viewers raised concerns, show organisers took an almost belated action which saw Kemen’s disqualification from the show.

There were diverse reactions to the issue. A number of people strongly opined that TBoss was aware of Kemen’s action that night but feigned ignorance just so he’d be let out, however she gained pity from the larger percentage of viewers and this must have been the point where her personality received a kick.

TBoss gained massive following from this sole experience and the viral social media campaign team, BossNation was birthed. Between that event and now, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding her stay in the house. Viewers have come up theories as ridiculous as “TBoss is Biggie’s girlfriend”, “TBoss has a politician paying for her stay in the house” etc. After tonight’s numbers were released, we saw reactions along this line:

Meanwhile, her supporters have made it known that she gained their attention when the negativity around her character began to spread. We saw some of that last week after Bassey’s eviction. Thousands of viewers could bet Bassey lost out simply because he got close to TBoss; for them, she had supernatural powers with which she jinxed all the male housemates that came close to her or slept in her bed. Efe’s fans have even formed the belief that their boy has lasted this long in the house because he kept distance from TBoss.

So much has been said about TBoss but the animosity seems to be the fuel to her fire. The more the hate spreads, the bigger her team becomes.

From how she fared with the votes last week, we have reason to believe she’s a top contender for the prize money. Although we were certain that Efe and Bisola were the biggest competitors, tonight has us thinking differently. You can never tell with these ones. Could TBoss be our winner?
