Boko Haram leaves behind despair, tragedy and destruction in Dalori, Maiduguri (VIEWER DISCRETION)

Insurgents of terrorist sect, Boko Haram, on Saturday evening, unleashed murderous rage on the town of Dalori, Maiduguri, leaving behind ruin, pain, despair and destruction in their wake.

In an attack where about 100 people are reported to have been killed, eye-witnesses report that the insurgents killed at whim, burnt children and adults, while also razing down properties.

Charred corpses and bodies are scattered on the streets of Dalori, a village just 5 kilometers (3 miles) from Maiduguri, Borno state.

According to Twitter user- Dan Borno, the attack which lasted for about an hour, could have been averted, had their been ‘synergy between the Army and Borno Police Crack Team’.

Borno, who is on ground in Dalori, claims that the ‘Borno state Police Crack Team have on several occasion neutralized terror attacks, but the Nigerian Army ‘are not comfortable with it’.

Borno also shared videos of corpses of some of the victims of the attack, on his Twitter page.
