Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Paul Boroh has warned beneficiaries of the scheme to steer clear of election violence in the forthcoming Rivers rerun polls.

Boroh in a statement on Friday said any beneficiary found involving in any form of violence will be withdrawn from the programme.

He advised the former militants to resist any attempt by politicians to use them as tools for violence.

Boroh threatened that any beneficiary involved in violence will be prosecuted and have his stipend stopped.

Boroh also urged the leaders of each groups to watch over their members who are beneficiaries.
