As the world unites in efforts to #BringBackOurGirls, the lucky students of the Girls Secondary School in Chibok who managed to escape their abductors have relived their experiences.
The parents of the kidnapped girls have been seen pictured in immense grief at the uncertainties that surround the continued detention of their daughters.
The photos below, of the escapees and some parents, were taken in front of the girls’ school with remains of the burnt down hostel seen in the background.
