The 40-year-old German-born supermodel forgot to apply the proper amount of sun cream while on holiday in the Bahamas and ended up with a rather painful looking burn down her lower back.
Eager to share her pain, Heidi posted a cheeky photograph of her bare behind on Twitter to show the tan line alongside the caption ‘Ouch.’

With her hair teased into cornrows and pulled into a ponytail, Heidi cut a striking figure in a distinctive strapless colourful bikini.
Heidi showed off her natural beauty with minimal make-up and spent the day in the sea with children Henry, seven, Jonah, six, and daughters Leni, nine, and three-year-old Lou.

Heidi’s bodyguard-turned boyfriend Martin Kristen joined the party, frolicking in the ocean with Heidi and helping little Lou swim.
Martin has been a permanent fixture in Heidi’s life since splitting from her husband Seal in January last year after seven years of marriage.
At one point, she applied sunscreen to her muscly boyfriend’s back, while Martin ensured she was protected from the heat with a pink and white sunhat.
