It’s been 50 days and a little over 7 hours since President Muhammadu Buhari left for the United Kingdom on his 10-day vacation that got elongated for medical reasons.

But thankfully, we no longer have to keep counting as the President has now returned to the country this morning.

As can be expected, his return has been met with a mixture of ecstasy and suspicion. There has even been a conspiracy theory espoused to say that the Abuja airport was closed solely to enable the Presidency to sneak him into the country away from the eyes of Nigerians.

Whatever the case, we cannot wait to see what the following days hold for Nigeria and her President in light of his return.
