EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde did not attend the hearing of the investigation into his person, by the senate committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions.
The committee sat today, to investigate claims made by a petitioner, George Uboh.
Uboh alleged that Lamorde diverted N1 trillion recovered loots from corrupt politicians, which includes; former Bayelsa governor Diepreye Alamiyeseigha and former Police boss Tafa Balogun.
During the sitting, it was discovered that Lamorde had written to the committee to request for more time to gather relevant documents, case in point, the comprehensive annual audit report from audit firm, KPMG.
Consequently, Lamorde was given another date to appear before the committee to answer to the petition.
