EFCC seals another estate belonging to ex-gov. Shema in Kaduna

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has sealed another estate allegedly belonging former governor of Katsina State, Ibrahim Shema in Kaduna State.

According to Daily Times, the estate located along the popular Rabah Road by Wurno Road was marked with an inscription, “EFCC Under Investigation“.

It was also learnt that some men in plain clothes were also seen manning the heavily locked estate.

An eyewitness said the operatives closed down the estate and later arrested and went away with the manager.

The eyewitness who lives near the estate also said the former governor was spotted at the area giving directives during the development of the estate.

Recall that the EFCC had declared Shema wanted for “criminal conspiracy, inflation of contract, abuse of office, diversion of funds, and embezzlement running into billions of naira.”

The EFCC had also sealed 3 houses belonging to the former governor in Katsina.
