Lil Wayne announces he’s now a member of Roc Nation

During a performance at a university in Pennsylvania, rapper Lil Wayne announced that he has joined Jay Z’s Roc Nation label.

Lil Wayne said, “Is it cool if i just say it? It’s the Roc. You know i’m a member of that team now”

He put the Roc diamond sign then went into his performance.

Although the news is yet to be confirmed by Roc Nation, this will be Wayne’s first move to another label in his career.

Lil Wayne has been signed on to Cash Money Records.

Davido and Psquare perform at billionaire Aliko Dangote’s 60th birthday celebration

Billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote recently celebrated his 60th birthday with an exclusive party that was attended by the biggest socialites and celebrities in Nigeria.

Psquare, Davido and DJ Jimmy Jatt were on ground to thrill the audience to good music.

Also in attendance was King Sunny Ade, Mo Abudu, Femi Otedola and Ifeoma Williams.

Mel B’s estranged husband seeking visitation rights for her daughter with Eddie Murphy

Former Spice Girl and X-Factor judge, Mel B now has fresh battle to fight with her ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte.

Last week, Mel B was granted a restraining order denying Belafonte any physical or verbal contact with her and their children and forcing him out of their home.

Now, Belafonte is back in court seeking joint custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Madison and visitation rights for Mel’s 10-year-old daughter, Angel who she had with popular comedian, Eddie Murphy after a brief romance.

His letter to the court partly reads, “Stephen would like to schedule a meeting as soon as possible to discuss the resolution of temporary issues, including his ability to see Madison and Angel, whom we would appreciate continuing to have contact with…”

Belafonte claims he’s the father figure in Angel’s life since he married Mel when the child was only 2 months old.

 

Kylie Jenner gets her own reality show ‘Life of Kylie’

Kylie Jenner is to star in a new reality show ‘Life of Kylie’ which will be a spinoff of her family reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

E! announced that the eight-episode series will document Kylie’s life as a teenager, a socialite and makeup entrepreneur.

The new series will feature other members of the Kardashian family and is set to premiere this summer.

 

Orange is the New Black returns for its fifth season with an intense teaser

Netflix series, Orange is the New Black is back for Season 5.

The previous season ended with the death of inmate Poussey, played by Samira Wiley, leaving the women of Litchfield prisons in a riot.

In this teaser, Latino inmate, Daya holds a gun to the head of an abusive prison officer while the other women scream “Shoot”. Piper and Alex sense that there is a real riot and try to run away.

Season 5 is set to premiere on June 9.
