Who ever said long distance relationship doesn’t work might want to re-consider or better still get in line for the soon to be launched Fundawear.

Thanks to Durex Australia who have revealed the prototype device that uses hi-tech vibrating underwear wirelessly stimulated via a mobile app.

With a flick of a finger, the intensity and location of the vibrations can be controlled which is very similar to the real thing.

Tech director Ben Moir, said: “Fundawear is a project about transferring touch across vast distances and that really is a first globally. People are gonna want this.”

And he’s right, people have been getting really excited about this gadget, someone on its Facebbok page even asked: “Is it possible to use this on yourself?”  Watch the video here.

According to a report, Durex recruited couple Nick and Dani to be the first to test it out. They were split up before the trial, and, in their own words, by the time they came to use Fundawear they felt like they hadn’t seen each other for “like, 100 years”.

Belfast Telegraph describes their reaction:

Within seconds, the pair were twitching about on their beds like they’d got electric ants in their pants, so it seems to work, though (thank the sweet Lord) the promotional video is short so for all we know they may have both lost interest after a couple of minutes and started playing Angry Birds.
