Holmes endured a tough 2012, between the end of her five-year marriage and the quick hook given to her heralded return to Broadway, the play “Dead Accounts.”

“I was open to – well, to whoever wanted me,” she told magazine. “But it was always my goal to make it back to the stage.”
One thing that hasn’t changed is that Holmes is still one of the most stunning actresses in the business — proved in the magazine’s steamy cover shoot.
She did play coy, however, when asked about swirling rumors that she was mulling a career change to law.
“Well, my brother and father are attorneys, and – we’ll see,” she said. “I like the practical thinking of attorneys.”
