Juventus has completed the signing of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli in a four-year deal worth €90 million.
The Argentine striker is expected to earn a whooping €7m a year.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentis had insisted that Juventus will have to match the player’s €90m release clause before any deal.
Juventus has now matched the fee, which will be paid in two instalments of €45m.
Higuain scored 36 goals in 35 Serie A games last season. He joined Napoli in 2013 from Real Madrid and was tied to the club until June 2018.
