[The Sexuality Blog] Are you kidding with this ‘Kevin Hart was raped’ conspiracy theory?

So, months after refusing to directly address a rumour supported by a TMZ video that Kevin Hart was cheating on his very pregnant second wife Eniko, over the weekend, Kevin Hart via Instagram, tendered a warning veiled as an apology to his wife and children at the woman who was trying to blackmail him with evidence of his infidelity. In the video, he concedes that he is not perfect and that he made a mistake, but that he has already apologised privately to his wife and children and is tendering the public apology so we are kept abreast of the situation. I am disappointed but unsurprised.

Kevin Hart has a long history of infidelity. His first marriage to Torrei Hart ended 6 years ago after it came to light that Kevin Hart had been repeatedly unfaithful to her, even though she’d been with him when he was still struggling to find success as a comedian. Torrei suggested that one of the women Kevin had cheated on her with was his then girlfriend Eniko, a girl that Kevin eventually stayed with on and off for the next five years before marrying her in 2016. I don’t personally believe that a man who has cheated once will cheat again if offered the opportunity. Some men get a strong enough wake up call that they go cold turkey and focus only on their marriages, but Kevin Hart does not seem like that kind of person, especially if this interview given on the radio show The Breakfast Club is anything to go by.

When asked about his previous infidelities, instead of taking responsibility for his actions, and accountability for his future actions, he instead chooses to blame a fictitious boogeyman looking to exploit and profit off his inability to not control his actions. What however is down right despicable is this rumour (probably started by his camp) that Hart was somehow made to overdrink and then taken advantage of when he is drunk. First off, Kevin Hart has admitted he was unfaithful to his wife, and has never suggested that he was raped, violently or other wise. Equating his infidelity with legitimate rape of women and men cheapens their pain and should not be something anyone even considers.

Kevin Hart has come out to admit his infidelity not because he particularly cared about his wife but because someone threatened to hurt his wallet. Let’s not try and turn him into someone he is not.
