Labourer, 26, charged to court in Abuja for stealing SIM card

An Abuja based labourer, Christopher Musa, has been accused of stealing a GSM SIM card.

The 26-year-old, from Mabushi in the FCT, was yesterday brought before a Wuse Magistrate Court for allegedly stealing a SIM card belonging to one Ibrahim Guruwa.

According to police prosecutor, Sgt. Abdullahi Alhasan, the case was brought before the police on the 21st of August by the victim of the theft, who also resides at Mabushi.
Alhasan also added that Guruwa was robbed of a bag containing N70, 000, and a Techno phone during the Ramadan period. Three days later, the SIM card from the stolen phone was found on Musa’s person.
The accused is standing trial on one count of theft.
