Lagos state government spent N330m to build Deputy Governor’s residence

In its contracts awarded for 2014, the Lagos state government spent an estimated N330 million for the construction of the residence of the Deputy Governor.

According to information obtained from the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency, precisely N329,929,551 was awarded for the “Proposed Residential Developemnt for Hon (Mrs) Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire at No. 15 Cameroon Street, Ikoyi, Lagos.”

The firm which won the contract for the construction of the official residence is listed as ‘Comfort Architectural Finishing Limited’.

From the list of contracts awarded by the state in 2014, it was also discovered that N255,684,399 was appropriated for the purchase of office furniture and equipment for the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The contracts was in awarded to two companies, with Nettop Global Investment Limited, getting N249,939,849 for the job, while AT & S Investment Limited, was awarded N5,744,550 for its services.
