An American woman from the state of Utah has been arrested after 7 corpses of newborn babies were found in her former home.
39-year-old Megan Huntsman is said to have hidden the pregnancies from her ex-husband, Darren West and strangled the babies as soon as they were born.
The gruesome discovery was made by Mr. West after he followed a “pungent smell” and found one dead baby while cleaning the garage.
Police officers responding to the complaint found six other bodies packed in cardboard boxes in the home.
The babies are believed to have been born to the accused between 1996 and 2006 and the father of the children has been cleared of wrongdoing.
