Niger Delta: Dickson holds closed-door meeting with Ibori

Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson on Thursday held a closed door meeting with former Delta governor, James Ibori in Oghara, Delta State.

According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Bayelsa State Governor, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, the meeting was on peace and security in the Niger Delta.

The statement said they also discussed how to engage youths in the region and also protect assets in the area.

Dickson was accompanied on the visit by the Secretary to State Government, Chief Serena Dokubo-Spiff, some members of the State Executive Council, including the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Jonathan Obuebite.
