After the terrorists of Islamic sect, Boko Haram, captured Gombi, Hong, and Pelia, in Adamawa, the Nigerian Army has announced that it has reclaimed the three communities.
Gombi, Pelia and Hong, were on Thursday, 13 November seized by the insurgents of Boko Haram, after an attack.
The Defence Headquarters disseminated the information via its Twitter page this morning, Wednesday, 19 November, saying that “Nigerian troops are in full control of Gombi, Pelia and Hong as operations to clear all areas infested by terrorists continue.”
In another tweet, from the handle, @DefenceInfoNG, it stated: “Many terrorists are being captured as some die. Weapons and Equipment are also being recovered. Mopping up Ongoing in the area even.”
