Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose may be able to attract attention to his sometimes inane rants back at home but in the abroad – specifically China – he’s having to work hard for it.
Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s trip to China, the Ekiti state governor, also followed suit – by heading to Guangzhou to attend the 119th China Import and Export Fair – popularly known as the Canton Fair.
On the first day of the fair – which is scheduled to hold between April 14 and 19 – Fayose, who’s one of the thousands of participants at the event, reportedly ‘addressed’ the gathering.
He made his way to the podium, bereft of a microphone – while a fellow participant posed for a selfie, right behind him
Fayose subsequently ‘addressed’ an evidently disinterested audience
And a few handshakes never hurt anyone
‘Great speech, Governor Fayose. Buhari will definitely not get that loan’.
