The new Executive Committee of the Nigerian Football Federation has employed the services of interantionally renowned audit firm, Pricewaterhouse to audit the accounts of the Federation.

The federation says the appointment was made because of its aim “to start on a clean slate and do things differently.”

The decision to audit the account of the NFF was one of the resolutions arrived at, during the meeting of the Executive Committee which took place at the Transcorp Corp Hilton Hotel, Abuja on Wednesday, 15 October.

Also, the federation approved the hiring of ‘Financial Derivaties’ firm to act as the financial consultants of the NFF, and Ben & Co to act as Management Consultants.

The President of the NFF, Amaju Pinnick said, “This is all part of our vision to drive the engine of Nigeria football differently but energetically and to let the world know that we are determined to be transparent and accountable. All these decisions are being taken in the best interest of Nigeria football.”

The composition of the ‘Internal Audit Committee’ will be constituted by the federation’s Executive Committee at a later date.
