The Nigerian Army on Wednesday had warned residents of Borno to avoid cattle water ponds in Kangallam village along Marte and Abadam axis of the state.

Pictures have surfaced of scores of dead cows owned by Fulani herdsmen.

The cows were said to have died, allegedly because of the poisoning of water sources by insurgent group, Boko Haram.
