The Court of Appeal in Owerri on January 1, sacked Okezie Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party, as the Governor of Abia state.
The court declared Alex Otti of the All Progressives Grand Alliance the winner of the April 11 and April 25 supplementary elections in the state.
Several indigenes of the state, upon knowledge of the judgement of the court, took to the streets to celebrate Alex Otti’s victory.
