The man lying on the floor in this picture is France’s Teddy Riner, kissing the shoe of his coach after winning the gold medal in judo. We’re just going to assume this was the product of excitement and the need to celebrate in any way possible. The coach, of course, was wearing gold gold shoes and a gold tie, perhaps in anticipation of his pupil’s win.
