The owners of Kabo Air have been presented with a bill of of N35 million by the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) for the damage caused to some equipment at the Sokoto International Airport by one of their craft.
On the 6th of October, a Kabo Air plane carrying 512 passengers to Saudi Arabia crashed into a range of antenna of the Instrument Landing System (ILS) on Runway 26.

Instrument Landing System brings an aircraft to the centre-line of the runway during final approach to landing.
According to Supo Atobatele, the airline was being asked to pick the bill for the replacement of the ILS, following technical assessment by the air traffic engineers. The assessment he said, was shortly after the incident was reported by the airspace manager of the airport.
