The 58th annual Grammy awards ceremony would be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, in a few hours.
While you gear up for music’s biggest night, we present five major things to be on the look-out for during the show.

The Host
This is one major factor that can make or mar an event.
However, two-time Grammy winner- L.L Cool J who is the chosen-one for tonight, is not a beginner at hosting the event as this is his 5th consecutive year at shouldering the huge responsibility.

The Presenters
Another very important component of the Grammy awards.
This year’s Grammy awards has quite an interesting line-up of presenters for various award categories.
The lineup has the likes of Stephen Colbert, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Ice Cube, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Anna Kendrick, Seth MacFarlane, Ryan Seacrest, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Common, James Corden, Cam and Kaley Cuoco.
Expect a whole lot of drama… and some Kanye West banter.

The Performers
This year’s edition of the Grammys promises to be entertaining- especially with the all-star ensemble of performers lined up for the night.
Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Adele, Alabama Shakes, Joey Alexander, Little Big Town, Miguel, Rihanna and The Weeknd are among the scheduled performers.
The artistes paired to perform together are: James Bay and Tori Kelly; Justin Bieber and Jack Ü (Diplo and Skrillex); Andra Day and Ellie Goulding; Sam Hunt and Carrie Underwood; and Pitbull, Travis Barker and Robin Thicke.
Of course, it’s the biggest night in music and you should get the best.

The Tributes
What’s not to love about a journey back in time, to honour those who’ve been pushing the art for decades?
We can’t wait to hear Lady Gaga‘s tribute performance to honor the late fame monster; David Bowie, Miguel’s cover of Michael Jackson‘s “She’s Out of My Life” and the Spike Lee documentary.
Don’t forget to also look forward to Luke Bryan, John Legend, Tyrese, Demi Lovato and Meghan Trainor all pay tribute to this year’s MusiCares recipient, Lionel Richie.

The Lifetime Achievement awards
This part of the Grammy’s would see the academy reward music legends who have paid their dues to the music industry through their craft.
They include Ruth Brown, Celia Cruz, Herbie Hancock, Linda Ronstadt, Jefferson Airplane, Earth, Wind & Fire and the first rap act to be honoured with this award, Run DMC now Rev Run.
