Kanye West stated at his concert in SAP Center in San Jose, California on Thursday night that he would have voted for Trump. But he did not stop there. He went on to admonish his fans to stop focusing on racism. Recall that not too long ago Lil Wayne said he did not feel connected to the Black Lives Matter movement and now another rich, black guy is saying he would have voted for the Donald Trump.
Some folks say this is Kanye being Kanye, others have accused him of being needy for public relevance. Oh, well, everyone is entitled to their opinions, even if it goes against the grain of public consensus. One wonders whether Kanye will suffer any backlash, beyond Twitter for these statements. We also wonder Jay Z thinks about it.
According to CNN, Kanye also said that “Not one or the other candidate was going to instantly be able to change [racism] because of they views.”

You think black people haven't wanted to stop talking about racism for the last 300 years? @kanyewest

Kanye West will not be allowed to come with us when we #BLAXIT. The Council of Onyx People Everywhere (COPE) unanimously agreed.

I can see why Kanye likes Trump campaign. Even with all the craziness, it had a smoother rollout than Life of Pablo.

Hey Kanye. Listen. *sigh* Here's the deal. Nobody cares about you not voting. Nobody cares who you "would've" voted for either. Okay? Okay.

Idk why people are surprised Kanye supports Donald Trump, they have so much in common, like being rich, unstable, narcissists with hot wives
