You remember our very own Wole Soyinka, Nobel Laureate and poet extraordinaire; he who is responsible for the enlargement of the English Dictionary, Soyinka, the one and only? Yes, he specifically stated and I quote ” If in the unlikely event he does win, the first thing he’ll do is to say [that] all green-card holders must reapply to come back into the US. Well, I’m not waiting for that. The moment they announce his victory, I will cut my green card myself and start packing up.”
Nigerians now want him to make good on his word. A request has been sent to Channels TV to find the good Prof at his home so the passport cutting ceremony can be seen by all. There’s real fear that he might not do it properly, or maybe not at all.
Our homegrown Prophet, too, T.B. Joshua, prophesied a Hillary win. If Hillary had taken him at his word, “na dia she for hang“, because not too long ago, Donald Trump was elected President of the United States.
Nigerians are desperate to hear what the man of god has to say about this obviously unforeseen turn of events.
