North Korea is looking for trouble. If China decides to help, that would be great. If not, we will solve the problem without them! U.S.A.

Just look at that show of power. North Korea is not playing around.
Following President Trump’s threat to North Korea to rein in their nuclear programme or be prepared to face the US’ wrath, North Korea organised a military parade where it displayed its new babies- intercontinental ballistic missile-sized canisters, submarine-launched ballistic missile and land-based ballistic missiles.

Are you scared?
We are.
Adam Mount, senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, speaking with CNN, said “It certainly appears to be a message to the United States that they’re capable of threatening the US homeland. That’s certainly their objective,”
Senior research associate at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies in California, Melissa Hanham told CNN that “The Vinson was sent out to make a statement. North Korea responded by showing off the most new missile hardware we’ve ever seen in a parade before,”
This is the first time North Korea was showing off its land and submarine-launched ballistic missiles in public. The land-based version is known as the KN-15, while Pyongyang’s submarine-launched weapon is known as the KN-11 missile.
With the ICBMs, North Korea can strike targets in mainland US and Europe, while the shorter range ballistic missiles can reach Asian territories.See below:

America’s military appears not to be worried, though. Gen Dave tweeted this:
Check out this awesome display of combat #Airpower from Kadena AB, Japan! Fight's on! #F15 #KC135 #HH60 #A3 @PACAF @AirMobilityCmd pic.twitter.com/8fGPmlOUFi

Jonathan Kaiman says Trump throwing a bomb into Syria has a lot to do with North Korea’s show of military might:
The Vice Chairman of NK's ruling party did speak. He alluded to the Syria strike. That seems to have really rattled the NK government

"If the US government preemptively strikes our country, we are ready to counter strongly," he said

Ankit thinks Americans should be worried:
Won't be treated that way in the news cycle, but there are several ways in which what we saw at the parade is scarier than nuke test #6.

Strap in. World war III signals…
what is the point of a North Korean attack upon the USA which – even if “successful” to some degree, would absolutely result in NK being reduced to a sea of smoking glass?
