TICKER: Mob lynch bandit in Warri for snatching workers’ salary

An irate mob, weekend, lynched a suspected bandit, who snatched workers’ salary from a staff of a private company.

Four persons were hit by stray bullets in the hot chase for members of the robbery gang.

Vanguard gathered that the robbery gang, which operated on a motor cycle, snatched the salary of workers’ salary at Enerhen Junction, Warri, in  Delta state but  one of them was pursued to Okoro Street by a crowd.

He shot intermittently into the air to scare the people and was shot severally with a pump action gun by a citizen, but the bullets could not penetrate because of his alleged fetish power.

Another citizen that witnessed the show said some one hit him from a bend with a wood, dispossessing him of his gun, after which he was overpowered and lynched.

Men of the Enerhen Police Division and B-Division Warri later came and took away the remains.
