Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 Paul Psquare
The unfortunate drama that gobbled up most of our time today was the fight between the Okoye twins. There was a video, y’all with a whole lot of shouting. Gotta say, for South Easterners who don’t waste time throwing punches, it was rather disappointing to see none. That’s the point of a fight, no?
Anyhoo, Peter of the Psquare gang apparently released the video to Linda Ikeji. Hence his twin’s remark below:
Wow!!!! And he finally released the all mighty video lol

The rest of TwitterNG has not been so accommodating of this family feud. Hear Sisi Yemmie.
Just saw the video of Peter, Paul and Jude fighting. What is this mess?! This is shaaaaameful! Grown men. Fathers. Husbands. Psquare

Here’s one consequence of splitting up that the twins might have not considered.
Travel all around Africa. I guarantee you that in any city you go, from Cape Town to Cairo, P-Square, Tekno and Wizkid dominate the airwaves

What’s going to happen to the music, guys?
2. Basketmouth
Oh, yes. Basketmouth was so not pleased with this turn of events at all. He basically said the twins were trying to put sand sand in his garri. He later deleted the post from his IG account but left the first half of it on Twitter. Trust the internet to keep things in its memory bank. See below:
Why una no wait until after my show on Saturday before una fight this fight?!! You guys are… https://t.co/n5igg6bRaZ
— Basket Mouth (@basket_mouth) September 26, 2017
Continues…
“You guys are distracting my publicity naaaa!!!! Wetin sef!!!! Anyway….Lords of The Ribs with Basketmouth live on the 30th of Sept”
Please forget this Psquare beef and go for Lords of the Ribs, you hear.
3. Eromo Egbejule
There are a lot of lessons to learn from this Psquare saga. Number 1:
If you didn't know it before, let this P-Square breakup tell you one thing. Family is dispensable. Don't die there because hey, my blood.
— Eromo Egbejule (@EromoEgbejule) September 26, 2017
4. Ikenna
Number 2: Whether blood or water, suit up hook, line and sinker!
Here's a story about siblings doing business without agreements. Maybe you even read about it in the newspapers circa 2007/2008.
— Ikenna Nzimora (@ronaldnzimora) September 26, 2017

Senior Brother's wife produced CAC docs and shows junior brother that his name is nowhere on any of them. Junior Brother gets angry.
— Ikenna Nzimora (@ronaldnzimora) September 26, 2017
He calls family meeting. No dice, Village meeting. No dice. Igwe intervened. For where! He goes to court. And case starts. And drags & drags
— Ikenna Nzimora (@ronaldnzimora) September 26, 2017
And make sure your share is represented.
Cheers.

5. Reno Omokri
Pastor Reno has run with this feud, using it as an opportunity to teach the Federal Government lessons on restructuring.

And the final lesson courtsey Abike is that we should all stop being hypocrites. Grown men fight, Brothers keep malice. It’s what they call the human condition. So shut it.
Some of you your dad has one brother he has not spoken to since 1993 but it’s low cut square and dada square fight that is paining you
— Jola (@Jollz) September 26, 2017
We’re waiting on this, sha.
Who is going to write the first open letter to P-Square?
— Toolz O.D (@ToolzO) September 26, 2017
6. Ayo Sogunro
Alongside Psquare, TwitterNG also gave equal attention to the “dangerous” NGO bill. The arguments for the bill are accountability and transparency. Ayo Sogunro tore those arguments apart. He didn’t stop there. He went ahead to disclose what freedoms are at stake if we allow the bill pass.
[In case you missed it]: “Here’s why the NGO bill accountability argument falls apart”
[Read also]: “This is the true purpose of the NGO bill”
7. Tunde Leye
Mr Leye also has choice words- and an anecdote- for supporters of the bill:
One of the things that you'll see in history is how educated people justified bad govt action until it turned around on them
— Tunde Leye (@tundeleye) September 26, 2017

I say this to intellectuals here doing mental gymnastics to justify every action this govt does. Remember Trotsky.

Remember, history will judge us.
8. Atinuke
Just a random tweet for Nigerian men:
May God bless Nigerian men.
Society put so much pressure on y'all to always head even on days that's hard. May heaven prosper & bless y'all.— Oiza (@Steadi_lady) September 26, 2017
8. Cardi B
So this happened:
It's official: Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" hits No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 https://t.co/KRSDqZKYr5 pic.twitter.com/Ebbt5e9ck7
— XXL Magazine (@XXL) September 25, 2017
And then this happened:

And Cardi B is over the moon, she even had nice words for the haters.
Every single FEMALE RAPPER CONGRATULATED ME TODAY .Is the best feeling cause I listened to ALL OF THEM
— Cardi B (@iamcardib) September 26, 2017
This is the happiest day of my life and no 1 will take this joy from me .I wish you sour patches a good day !Thats how happy I am .
— Cardi B (@iamcardib) September 26, 2017
