The northern Nigerian city of Bauchi came under threats today after explosions struck two churches, destroying one of them completely. According to reports, the IBB square, Jahun area and near a railway line in Bauchi Township were also affected including a police station in Tafawa Balewa local government area and another military checkpoint at Marar Rabar Liman Katagun which was attacked.
The casualties are yet to be confirmed but this is just two days after Boko Haram’s coordinated an attack in Kano.
The Kano attacks have been recorded as the deadliest by Boko Haram yet. The latest figures has raised the death toll following guns and bomb attacks to about 178.
