BBC Video: Luxury brands take note of Nigerian high-end consumers

Majority of Nigerians live below the World Bank’s poverty line, but a few of our fellow citizens are certainly not feeling the economic pinch of this recession as they carry on living the ostentatious life and splurging on luxury brand products.

Many luxury brands have taken notice of the unbending buying power of these Nigerians who do not think anything of buying the latest cool stuff like champagne, expensive accessories, and sleek cars to announce their ‘arrival’.

Here, the BBC News grants us a sneak-peek into the high life of Nigeria’s luxury brand patrons.
