The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has stated that he is not an idol worshipper, but a worshipper of the “Almighty God”.
The Ooni made the statement on his Instagram page, @Ooniadimulaife on Monday.
Oba Ogunwusi had received some backlash during his last tour of the United States of America with many people accusing him of insulting the throne and bringing the gods of the land to disrepute for singing “Jesus is my father” at a Redeemed Christian Church of God church service.
