Saturday, February 14th made it exactly two years since singer Goldie Harvey passed on.

Media personality, Denrele Edun who was her best friend while she was alive, visited her grave site to pay his tribute.

He also posted this tribute on his page:

“Gone……but where?
I can’t call you on the phone,
I can’t knock on your door,
No matter how loud I scream, you can’t respond.

“I held your hand as you took your last agonizing breath,
You fought with your heart and your soul,
You fought for me and defended me on countless occasions,
but you lost….we lost.

“My kids will never know you;
how funny you were,
how generous you were,
how there was nothing that could stop you from giving me anything I was seeking and wanted (how you always knew what I was thinking still shocks me)…except this.

“You won’t be able to see me walk down the aisle,
You won’t see me work up my hustle and take up that job upgrade we always spoke about,
You won’t comfort me as life pushes me down.

“Where are you ooooo???
I want to hug you and tell you I love you Again,
I want to sit and have olives (You loved them, I hated them but cos of you…I’l eat an entire sack) and sip white wine with the crazy gang catching up on every-every,
I want to laugh and smile the way only you could make me!
I miss you like crazy…..
GOLDIE!!!!!
I just wish I could find you, somewhere out there to let you know!

GOD broke our hearts to prove he only took the best.

The late Goldie Harvey died on the 14th of February, 2013 after a brief illness, may her soul rest.
