The Islamic Movement in Nigeria known as Shi’ites on Monday said its members will storm the Federal Capital Territory if the Federal Government fails to release its leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

National Coordinator, ‘Save Zakzaky’s Life Group of Nigeria’, Bashir Marafa said millions of Shi’ites would occupy Abuja if the government fails to accede to its request before the 14-day ultimatum.

The group said, “We have the right to show our grievances and concerns in peaceful manner.

“The police, soldiers and all other security agencies should take note. They should never harass, or intimidate us. Our slogan is free Zakzaky. Our mission in Abuja is to seek the release of our leader, Shaik Ibrahim Zakzaky. Nothing, but that.”
