Since its inception, one of the tools used extensively by web development companies isWordpress. WordPress which has been suited and successfully used as a content
management system and blogging platfrom for many. 

As a way to raise awareness on the optimized usage of this tool and also to showcase
this widely used Open Source application, Nysteria Solutions is organizing WordCamp
Nigeria 2010.

Nysteria is a growing web development company which
specializes in web design and open source technology as an avenue for
the creation of information technology.
Wordcamp Nigeria 2010 is one of the three Wordcamp events in Africa,with South Africa and Egypt being the only other African countries
involved. This event is intended to be an avenue for creating a lot ofawareness about the advantages of the tool. Nysteria intends makingWordCamp Nigeria a bi-monthly event.

For this maiden edition of WordCamp, three sectors will be treated;
• WordPress as a full-fledged Content Management System by Dadepo Aderemi
• Plugin Development using DuduSMS WordPress Plugin as a case study by Seye Kuyinu of Nysteria Solutions.
• Impact of Open Source on Developing Economies by Bade Adesemowo of Bincom.net.

WordCamp Nigeria is open to all interested participants and will holdon the 25th of September, 2010 by 4pm at Finicky Halls, Jibowu-Yaba, Lagos.
