Jimi Disu: He is a highly proficient journalist who has served as Editor for The Punch Newspapers, Business Editor for Vanguard Newspapers; and Marketing Director at the Compass and 234Next. He is a veteran broadcaster with a rich profile within the Nigerian media ecosystem. He uses his platform to deliver expert opinions on foreign affairs, always finding a way to relate Nigerian issues to the grander global stage. These days, he anchors a radio segment on Nigerian Info FM where he shows tenacity to dissect social issues.

Sandra Ezekwesili: With over a decade of experience in journalism, Sandra Ezekwesili has become a very distinguished and seasoned radio broadcast journalist whose identity has become a part and parcel of the popular radio station, Info FM. She is both host and Strategic Executive Partner for Info FM. She is the host of  Hard Facts on Nigeria Info 99.3FM in Lagos. Prior to this, she had worked in yet another notable radio station; Cool FM Port Harcourt, anchoring the Breakfast show during her time there, a stint that would afford her a number of nominations and awards. Her current show Hard Facts on Info FM covers topics ranging from politics to current affairs, to family, and social issues.

Oluwakemi Itari Owatemi: Donning the nickname Kemi Smallz due to her rather petite stature, Itari has over the past few years become one of Nigeria’s coolest and trendiest radio presenters. She hosts the shows on Cool FM, My Inside Radio and The Basement Gig. You can say she was born to be in the media as she landed her very first television gig at age 7, when she appeared on Tales Africa, Kiddies Island, and GenerationNext for DAMSA Communications on MBI and MITV. She is a dynamic media personality indeed and continues to inspire others potential radio voices.

Temilola Balogun Akinmuda: It’s hard not to feel inspired after a look through Temilola’s extensive media career, which stretches over several competencies within the vigorous and highly desired media industry. Simply put, she seems to experience an unreal amount of success in anything she embarks on. Yet another Cool FM host, Temilola Balogun Akinmuda popularly known as Tyami B is a multi-talented award-winning blogger and a television show producer. She is the brain behind the popular YouTube series; Skinny Girls in Transit, and the voice behind Cool FM’s Good Morning Nigeria show. She is also a businesswoman who founded Shoptaymib, an online fashion store. Perhaps what she most hangs her hat on is her career as a mother.

Seyebomi Ademuyiwa Adeniran Ogunsanya: Seyebomi popularly known as Sheye Banks the Vybe King is an on-air personality and a businessman who founded his own music management company; TSC Management, an outfit which hosts music shows and events. It’s safe to say that Sheye stumbled into the business of radio presenting when he discovered the craft on his brief academic hiatus in 2010. He stepped into an announcement office at Ashford Hospital Broadcasting Service (AHBS), Kent, UK and instantly took a fascination with presenting, after which he decided to develop the talent. Today he anchors ‘What’s Up Lagos’ every weekday on Soundcity Radio 98.5, Lagos. Prior to this, he had worked in one of Abuja’s most prolific radio stations, Kiss FM, after which he relocated to Lagos to set up a subsidiary of the station. Kiss FM Lagos recorded a surprisingly impressive followership in just a month after its launch.   

Godwin Aruwayo: This veteran on-air personality has worked with a few radio stations including Classic FM 97.3, The Beat 99.9FM and Naija FM 102.7. He is known as the first voice of Naija FM. On this station, he hosts the shows; the Work Chop show and Ask the Professional, a program where leaders of industries are invited to talk about their careers. Godwin began in print media before he pivoted to radio. In 2007, he was a senior staff reporter with Soccer Star produced by The Sun Newspaper. Moving to radio he anchored Sports Yarn, the first Daily Pidgin Sports Show on radio in Nigeria, on Wazobia Fm 95.1 Lagos. He is the convener of ‘One Chance with Godwin’, an entertainment reality show designed to create a platform for young talented Nigerians to show the world what they’ve got.

Osikhena Dirisu: This media personality leans more towards the corporate side of the radio business serving as both an OAP on the Beat FM 99.9 Lagos, as well as its Deputy Director of Programs. He has a ton of experience in his craft boasting a career that spans over a decade. He began on Rhythm FM back in 2008 at the same time he was also a writer and editor at Juice Magazine and Dynamix Magazine respectively. Nowadays, you can catch this OAP co-hosting the Morning Rush and hosting the Liquid Lounge and The Sunday Request Show on the Beat FM. When this bestselling author is not on air, he is fueling his Formula 1 fanaticism.

Ufuoma Egbamuno: Ufuoma Egbamuno is an experienced radio journalist who for the last 8 years has served as the head of news for the highly renowned Cool FM, Wazobia FM and Nigeria Info FM. He is also a veteran with over a decade of experience in journalism and a highly respected sports analyst, presenter and producer. Asides heading the News segment of the aforementioned radio stations, he is also the producer of sports programs on the stations. Prior to his current engagement, he has worked with NN24 and The Nation Online. He stands as one of the country’s most accomplished sports journalists and one of Nigeria’s most esteemed OAPs.

Chinedu Ani Emmanuel: The Nigerian radio ecosystem would not be the same without this unorthodox on-air personality, who reinvigorated the use of pidgin English on radio making the speak cool again. Popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel is also an actor, a comedian, an influencer who has the sort of followership on social media synonymous with actors and musicians. He anchors the radio show Our Backyard on Wazobia FM. On social media, his characters; Alhaji Musa and End Time Landlord, have become one of the most recognisable comedic characters on Instagram and YouTube, earning him a seat amongst Instagram content creator royalty.
