(UPDATE) Amaechi’s ministerial screening postponed again

The ministerial screening of former governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi will not hold today.

Amaechi’s screening is expected to take place on Wednesday, at the Senate.

Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Publicity, Dino Melaye, revealed this to journalists, on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, it is believed that only three ministerial nominees will be screened today.

The nominees are; Adebayo Shittu, Khadijat Abah-Ibrahim and Claudius Omoyele Daramola.

The Nigerian senate has announced that only three nominees will be screened today.

The senate earlier this morning released an order paper for today’s screening and listed eight nominees for screening and they are;

Rotimi Amaechi,

Adebayo Shittu,

Abba Ibrahim,

Barr. James E. Ocholi

Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed

Miss Aisha Abubakar

Heineken Lokpobiri

Abubakar Buhari Bawa.

But as the plenary began this morning, only three were announced for screening.
