Unknown gunmen on Saturday kidnapped Chief W.G Watson Iti, the father of the lawmaker representing Brass Constituency 2 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Alfred Belimote Watson.
According to Sahara Reporters Chief Watson was on his way to Egweama from Okpoama in Brass Local Government Area of the State, to bury his late wife, Mrs Comfort Watson, when the gunmen attacked his speed boat and whisked him to an unknown destination.
The lawmaker, Alfred Belimote Watson, who confirmed the incident said the kidnappers were yet to make any contact with the family members.
