President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met with governors of Borno and Zamfara state at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock.

Governors Kashim Shettima and Governors Abdulaziz Yari arrived the President’s office this afternoon.

Details of the meeting is yet to be known.

However President Buhari may have called the governors to discuss issues bothering on security within their states.

Borno is currently facing challenges with Boko Haram terrorists while on Monday in Zamfara eight persons were killed for alleged blasphemy against Islam, an incident which President Buhari condemned in strong terms on Tuesday.
