2face remixes hit song, African Queen to celebrate wife, Annie

In celebration of his fourth wedding Annie-versary, Nigerian music star 2face Idibia has released a HDV version of his 2004 hit single, African Queen.

Shot in South Africa, the video features clips from the couple’s Dubai wedding and cameo appearances from Nollywood’s Richard Mofe-Damijo and Adesua Etomi.

The video is also an official soundtrack for comedian AY’s newest flick, 10 Days in Sun City which also features 2face and Annie Idibia.

The singer also penned a beautiful message to his wife, Annie.

Tekno drops video for new single, Yawa

We teased you with photos from the shoot, now the finished work is here.

MMMG artiste, Tekno has released the visuals to his first single in 2017, Yawa.

The track was produced by Masterkraft and the video was shot and directed by Patrick Elis in a location outside Nigeria.

 Eedris Abdulkareem lays claim to the success of new Nigerian artistes

Rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem whose music characterized the formative years of the Nigerian hip hop genre sent a gentle reminder to reigning artistes to stay respectful or else they would get kicked back to “where they belong”.

In an interview with Hip TV news, Abdulkareem claimed to be one of the legends who put food on the table of new artistes like Don Jazzy.

Sesame Street in search of Nigerian kids for new roles

Long-running American children’s TV series, Sesame Street has made a call for “authentic Nigerian-American kids between the ages of 9 and 14 for new roles”.

The casting call requires that the kids should be able to sing, act and represent their culture.

Beyonce fulfils teenage cancer patient’s final wish

A Houston-based teenage cancer patient, Ebony Banks got her last wish when she received a message from Beyonce via FaceTime.

Ebony who is diagnosed with a rare cancer type in its fourth stage has spent most of her senior year in the hospital.

Ebob as she is called by friends and family is a big fan of the music star so her classmates set up the #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE campaign and spread it via social media until it caught Beyonce’s attention.
