Former social media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan and founder of Mind of Christ Christian Center, Reno Omokri has attacked the #OccupyNigeria protests which erupted in January 2012 following the announcement of the removal of subsidy by the Federal Government on the first day of the year.
Reno’s attack is a reaction to the recent removal of subsidy of fuel by the Muhammadu Buhari led administration on Wednesday, May 11.
On his Twitter page, the former presidential aide lambasted the All Progressives Congress and all the other front runners of the #OccupyNaija accusing them of using the protest for their selfish gains instead of in the interest of Nigerians.

Before @GEJonathan increased fuel price in 2012, he increased minimum wage and NYSC pay in 2011 because he's a leader who pitied the masses.

The same arguments that @GEJonathan used is the arguments being used by the current admin. They should pay GEJ copyright for his ideas!

They said there was no subsidy. That @GEJonathan was deceiving Nigerians. Is there subsidy today? Who is deceiving Nigerians today?

The same @GEJonathan that APC demonized is the man who increased your minimum wage, revived our rail way, stabilized forex, gave you YouWIN.

Nigerians can now see the #OccupyNigeria movement for what it was. Occupy Nigeria for their selfish agenda, not for the benefit of Nigerians
